The Mark of a Great Trailer
Great Northern Trailer Works was founded in 2005 as an extension of North Star Fabrication and Machine, a locally owned fabrication company in Oregon that has been operating since 1984. Our roots are in heavy-duty fabrication, building equipment like asphalt machinery and other large-scale projects. However, we needed a product line that would provide steady work between those larger builds—without having to lay off our skilled fabricators. That’s where Great Northern Trailer Works was born.
Unlike many trailer manufacturers, we don’t rely on quick welding lessons to train our team. Our trailers are built by experienced fabricators, ensuring every trailer meets the highest standards of durability and performance. From utility trailers to custom builds, we take pride in manufacturing products that stand the test of time.
